The Skinny
Welcome to ‘My Baking Heart’. I’m so happy you’re here!
I’m Jessica, a thirty-something alumna of Texas Christian University & Sigma Kappa and at times, a Southern Belle. I have a major love for baking and cooking, photography, shopping, TCU football (I bleed a mean purple), 50s advertising, collecting antiques and (since I’m newly married) keeping house.
Occasionally, I’ll blog about a product I come across that I think my readers will love. If you’re interested in having me review your company’s product on MBH, then send a quick e-mail to jessica (at) mybakingheart (dot) com and we’ll chat! I love mail, so even if you have a question about a recipe or just want to say howdy, use the e-mail address above! 🙂

Good Morning
Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I am “very” new at this whole blogging thing, and despite that fact, I was also one of the winners of the Sucre give away contest sponsored by BlakeMakes. So, I decided to stop by, visit your blog and wish you continued success. Hopefully someday my blog will approach the level of professionalism exhibited here. AND…..yes I need to get a camera……and FAST!
Sincerely,
Mark
I am trying to find the little round gluten free pretzel receipt…can you help…this is my first venture on Pentrest
Hi there! I just now noticed your comment, so I’m sorry for the late response. Click here for my Pretzel Bites with Spicy Cheddar Cheese Dip, the recipe that’s featured on Pinterest… however, they’re not gluten-free. Are you looking for another recipe that is?
Oh my gosh! We seem to have a lot in common. I love Longaberger baskets, too. And I was born on July 14, Bastille Day, so I’ve always had a thing for the Eiffel Tower, also. And I was browsing your recipes (think I might try your guacamole) and saw that your friends who own the B&B live in Rogersville, MO. I’m from Branson, about 45 miles South of there and my husband and I love B&Bs. I’ll have to check them out and see if they have a website. If we decide to go there, I’ll be sure to tell them that we found them through you! 🙂

Love your blog! How did you get to the point of advertisers and free products? Also, how long before you really started seeing your blog take off. It’s absolutely beautiful! 🙂

Is that a new photo of the “horned-froggy”? Your blog is just wonderful! You do such a great job of presenting your recipes! Thanks for letting me share.
Hi Jessica!! I think I sat next to you at the DSLR session! 😀 You have a beautiful blog and photography!! Not kidding here. Also, I’m excited to keep up with your future bakin’ excursions~
Love the wasted cookie recipe. That will be my next cookie baking time. The last I made were from Just A Pinch for a cream cheese/cake mix cookie. Soft cookies. Can make lots of good variations. Thanks
Jessica, I can´t open your recipes (past ones)!
Do you know what might be the problem?
Hey Paula! Having trouble, as in you can’t open older posts?
Hi Jessica,
Thanks for the friend request on Foodbuzz. I love your blog design. I’ve been thinking about switching to Thesis DIY themes but haven’t made the plunge. I’m newly engaged too and planning a wedding myself! 🙂 I look forward to exchanging recipes!
Hi Jessica! Thanks for the friend request on Foodbuzz. I’m also newly engaged and planning a wedding. Can’t wait to share foodie finds, recipes and wedding ideas!
Hello! I am really enjoying your blog! I nominated you for the Liebster blog award. You can find out more about it on my blog.
Dying to know… is that your actual kitchen!?!? [jealous!]
I wish, Kasey! We “borrowed” the kitchen of a dear friend to shoot these (our engagement photos). Glad you love! 🙂
Hi Jessica,
Visiting from the SITS. 🙂 I love this introduction! It has everything in it that encourages me to click on through and get to know you even more. Your writing style is friendly and easy going. The pictures are gorgeous and I love that you have included your Social Network links at the end. 🙂
It is lovely ‘meeting’ you Jessica,
Tami
