Strawberry Mint Margarita | #MargaritaDay

Happy National Margarita Day! It’s been an incredibly long week for me, so this day couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s also my birthday, so really, when you think about it, it’s like a nationwide celebration of me!

Driscoll’s & Casa Noble are celebrating this frozen concoction, as well, with their premium, fresh berries and well-balanced, smooth tequila. Casa Noble’s Crystal Tequila is packed with aromas and flavors of raw and buttery-sweet cooked agave, mango and a hint of pepper for a long finish. It’s crystal clear with brilliant hues of straw and silver and it’s spices are soft and elegant on the palate as they are complemented by a hint of citrus. The finish is clean, smooth and silky. Definitely a perfect tequila to complement Driscoll’s sweet, juicy strawberries.

Strawberry Mint Margaritas

Yield: 2 (12.75 oz) margaritas

  • 4 oz Casa Noble Tequila
  • 2 oz triple sec
  • 2 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp mint extract
  • 1/3 c granulated sugar
  • 2 c frozen strawberries
  • 2 c ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberries & fresh mint, for garnish

With the exception of fresh strawberries & mint, add all ingredients to your blender and secure lid. Blend on medium speed for 30-40 seconds. Sand the rims of your glasses with sugar, then pour blended margaritas and top with fresh mint and strawberries.
