Another Friday has arrived… which just means another week is down and with eleven days left, I’m still not ready for Christmas! We finally picked out our first tree last night, the lights are up on the house and I’ve been busy baking sweet treats, but the gifts have totally escaped me!
Since I’ve had so many holiday goodies on my mind lately, I thought I’d put together a little post featuring some of my favorites from the past few years. Maybe you’ll find one that will become a new favorite for you, too!
Above, clockwise from the top left, are traditional Lebkuchen with Amaretto-Vanilla Glaze, spicy Ginger Cookies and sweet Holly Jolly Cookies. All are perfect for your next Cookie Swap!

I had so much fun cooking along with the BEEF Loving Texans group last year. Each dish above is a yummy reminder of the many new friends I made and the recipes I added to my collection. These are wonderful dishes for all of the holiday company you’re expecting! Clockwise from top left: Grilled Salsa Steak Appetizers, Southwest Breakfast Casserole, Parmesan Crusted Tenderloin and Cowboy Beef & Black Bean Chili.

With all these dishes, you can’t forget the drinks! Santa loves a big ol’ glass of Homemade Eggnog… especially this one from The Capital Hotel in Little Rock, AR! The Whole-Grain Gingersnaps and Soft & Chewy Gingerbread Cookies pair nicely with it, too!

And finally, some of my absolute favorite cookies of all time… my Great-Grandmother’s Molasses Cookies. They’re classically Christmas and a yearly family tradition. Even in the Summer, my culinary-challenged aunt will request these from me!
Hope you’re close to marking off everything on your list and that this weekend is a lovely one for you!

So many delicious treats. I love that you included some savory dishes too. Too often overlooked this time of year!
