
This cake is so light and fluffy, it’s like eating a cloud. And the streusel throughout the center of the cake is so dreamy. It’s not a cake I’d make very often, as there are several steps which do take some time to put together. However, it’s a perfect dessert for your next birthday, anniversary or dinner party. And if nectarines aren’t in season, just sub sliced apples or pears… a cake for all seasons!

The chiffon cake does look great. I did a few things different just to avoid the six eggs. It was still really good. And I used peaches. Yours looks beautiful!
I loved the texture of this cake too. I’d like to try it with pears this fall.
