Tuesdays With Dorie – Sour Cream Pumpkin Tart

by Jessica on November 29, 2011

Sour Cream Pumpkin Tart

Let’s hear it for another Thanksgiving winner. This tart went entirely too fast… so quick, that I didn’t get a single photograph of any of those sweet slices.

I put it together the night before, leaving it in the fridge until it was time to dig in at the dessert table. The filling whipped up like a dream and it included one of my all-time favorites from Ms. Dorie… her ‘Good-For-Almost-Everything’ Pie Dough recipe. One of my new favorites. And for certain, a future ‘go-to’ pumpkin pie!

Sweet, sweet Judy of Judy’s Gross Eats is this week’s hostess. She’ll have the recipe posted, along with a few photos of some slices, I’m sure! And if you’d like to see who else participated this week (there’s Normandy Apple Tart, too!), click over to the ‘Leave-Your-Link’ post! 🙂

Looks absolutely perfect for this time of year. Wish I was enjoying a big slice of it right now.

Your pumpkin tart looks beautiful! (Love that Dorie’s pie crust can be used in tarts too!)

Your pie looks fab – not surprised that it disappeared so quickly.

That looks so pretty with the whipped cream on it! I just did it piece by piece as I knew it was going to take a couple of days for it to disappear. Next time I take it somewhere, though, I am decorating it all like you did, so pretty!
