Pumpkin Pie-Java Smoothie

by Jessica on November 2, 2011

Two years ago, my life changed… and it was for the better. I began dating C in September and finally found true love. Then, on Thanksgiving Day 2009, I reluctantly ate a slice of pumpkin pie for dessert. My world was suddenly brighter and had new meaning. Between the start of my relationship with C and that first taste, I’d have to say that pumpkin pie comes in a close second. čÖé

I was never a huge fan of that orange gelatinous-looking pie until that day. And now? I can’t get enough of it. Pies, cookies, puddings, breads, cupcakes… and that ever-popular spiced latte. So, imagine my excitement when I was tapped to try Godiva Coffee’s new Pumpkin Spice variation? Triple score! It’s a medium roast that tastes just like warm pumpkin pie with cinnamon, nutmeg and sweet vanilla cream notes. Um, pumpkin pie in liquid form? Yes, please! I decided to add a cup of it to this pumpkin pie-like smoothie, giving a bit of buzz to my ice-cold morning treat. And the result is nothing short of stellar.

As for the fabulous Foodbuzz Tastemakers Tervis tumbler featured in the photo above? I absolutely love it! I’ve used Tervis tumblers in my kitchen for several years now and I haven’t found anything better. They’re virtually indestructible… they won’t crack, melt, shatter or chip and they come with a lifetime guarantee! Forget condensation rings on your furniture and have no fear – they’re dishwasher safe!
