Chocolate Oatmeal Drops

Love, love, love! Eating these compared to pouring ganache over a bowl of morning oatmeal… and we all know that there’s nothing better than ganache! The dough comes together fairly easy and you’ll only dirty up a couple of bowls. But don’t forget to take the advice of Carol from The Bake More, which she left on this week’s P&Q – chill your dough for 10-20 minutes, then scoop out and bake. It worked like a charm and I had such pretty little cookies!

Your cookies look all fudgey and delicious! I didn’t love these, but that ganache over morning oatmeal idea…whoa, I could handle that! ­čÖé

omg pouring ganache over a bowl of oatmeal sounds like heaven! Mine didn’t taste like that! I am jealous of your cookies!!

Yumthey turned out looking great! I liked this recipe just didn’t hear a whole lot of feed back on the cookies!

Yep…I should’ve chilled the dough for a few minutes. Still had tasty cookies, but I would’ve liked them to be a bit prettier. They look wonderful here!! And those V-day Linzers…so pretty!!

Your cookies look fabulous! Mine were chewy, but I wish they had been thicker. I’m definitely chilling the dough next time!

Your cookies look great (and thicker, like I wanted), and I even chilled the dough. These aren’t my fave, but still okay.
I also wish I’d have bake them a little less time.

Thanks for baking with us this week! Your cookies look fab, seems that the chilling was the key to aesthetically pleasing cookies. I ran short on time and thus, didn’t get a chance to do that.
