I hate to say that I wasn’t excited about this week’s recipe. I love bundt cakes and I love, love, love chocolate & cinnamon together… but this one just fell flat for me. Maybe it’s because I altered things once again. Instead of one big ol’ bundt, I halved the recipe and ended up with six mini bundt hearts… and as you can see, I attempted the swirl, but didn’t end up with a great one. The smell that drifted from the oven was another story. It was magical – sweet, but pungent (in a good way!) from the sour cream – and so warm & inviting. I just wish that the bite I took would’ve measured up to that wonderful smell. Maybe next time!
