Tuesdays With Dorie – Nutella-Filled Chocolate Madeleines

by Jessica on January 11, 2011

Let’s get straight to the point. Chocolate + Nutella = Love. And with this sweet spin on Dorie’s traditional madeleines, that’s where I’m at… in double-dipped love. I had a bit of trouble with the dough being sticky after it’s chilling time, but everything turned out hunky-‘dorie’ in the end. ;)

Rich, chocolaty, but still delicate… they’re the perfect little treat for showers and afternoon teas. Big thanks to Margo of Effort to Deliciousness for this week’s sinful pick. Check out her blog for the recipe and then take a gander at the other fluff-filled madeleines that made an appearance today via the TWD site!

Beautiful! So that’s what a madeleine is supposed to look like! :)

LOVE the Nutella variation! Other than white chocolate, Nutella is my next favorite baking flavor! Your madeleines turned out wonderful!

Ok, seriously, yours look the best I’ve seen! Did you use a milk chocolate to dip them in? Your cookie looks darker and the ganache looks lighter–and I like it!

I’m so jealous of everyone who took the Nutella route.
You cookies look so moist! May I please snatch one up through the computer, please? :D

I had the same problem with sticky dough after the chilling time. My hands (and everything else in the vicinity) were covered in this dough after trying to fill the madeleine molds. I love your Nutellla/chocolate combo – they look delicious :)
