Tuesdays With Dorie – Double Apple Bundt Cake

by Jessica on October 5, 2010

Double Apple Bundt

It’s finally Fall!! Really, truly Fall. However, that could be because I’ve been in Pittsburgh for the past week and it hasn’t reached 70 degrees once! I love it! Before we packed up the Yukon and U-Haul for our business trip up North, I sliced this beautiful bundt into 12 little pieces, wrapped ’em in plastic wrap and loaded ’em up for some sweet little road-trip snacks! Perfect once you’re on your 10th (or 21st) hour on the road and ready for a treat! čÖé

The apples, spices and pecans marry together perfectly… just waiting for the cake to scream Autumn. Many thanks to Lynne of Honey Muffin for such a great choice! The recipe is featured on her blog and if you want more Double Apple Bundts, check out the other TWD bakers here!

It sure looks like they liked it to me! I should have drizzled…this looks even better with the drizzle. Nice job.

This cake looks perfect in everyday – especially with that glaze dripping down the side. Wish I had a huge hunk of it in front of me right now.

Perfect looking cake. Mine came out of the bundt pan nicely, but I would not have been able to serve pieces in the car like that. The slices fell apart, but it tasted great!
