Tuesdays With Dorie – Chipster-Topped Brownies

by Jessica on May 26, 2009

Ever been set up on a blind date before? You have? Well, I haven’t… until now. And technically, we haven’t even been out on said ‘date’ yet. Since we’re both on different schedules and can never get together at the right time, I decided to do a little something to put ‘ol Hornedfroggy in the front of his mind.

These TWD brownies couldn’t have come at a better time… along with a little note on his windshield, an entire plate of these ended up in his mailbox. Sneaky, I know, but it kind of worked. I’ve had some really good feedback from mutual friends and now I’m just waiting on that date… 🙂

Chipster-Topped Brownies

Many, many thanks to Beth of Supplicious, who chose Dorie’s Chipster-Topped Brownies…

Guaranteed to put “a HUGE smile on your face & a little pep in your step”… or so I’ve been told. 😉

It would make me SO HAPPY if these brownies ended up being the happy ending to your soon-to-be (I hope) blind date.

You have reached brownie perfection…or crownie perfection (as What the Whisk’s husband renamed them…)

Wow…those are so high and nice, how’d you do that??? Gorgeous, but the most fun I think is that glass and plate…could have easily been from my mom’s kitchen when I was growing up. Such fun to see those.
