Tuesdays With Dorie – Pumpkin Muffins

by Jessica on October 21, 2008

I’ve already eaten three of these and it’s not even noon…

Pumpkin Muffins

Seeing as how I barely had time to make these fabulous puppies, I ended up using what I had in the house… subbing dark chocolate & cinnamon chips for the raisins, sliced almonds for the walnuts, and nonfat milk in place of the buttermilk. I am so wiped out from traveling and I feel like I’ve got mounds of recipes waiting to be made!! I wish I was paid to bake all day… čÖé

The yummy insides!

A huge ‘thanks’ goes to Kelly of Sounding My Barbaric Gulp for choosing these muffins as this week’s TWD recipe… they were so yummy and I can’t wait to make them again!!

mmm…cinnamon! Your muffins look great. Are you hitting up any homecoming activities this weekend? I am going to hit the SK House for cupcakes at 2:30. I can’t wait to get some Fuzzy’s queso! I need my fix.

I was actually wondering how cinnamon chips would taste as a substitute. Now I will give them a try for sure. It’s possible the chocolate might be too overpowering.

Almonds and cinnamon chips sound wonderful with the pumpkin base – nice! Good thing you managed to squeeze them in, they sound like a hit.
