Tuesdays With Dorie – Mixed Berry Cobbler

by Jessica on June 24, 2008

I chose to venture off of Dorie’s beaten path this week and thus, I went with peaches and raspberries in her Mixed Berry Cobbler, chosen by Beth of Our Sweet Life. One, because I love peaches and raspberries together and two, that’s what I had in the freezer and I didn’t want to go out. 🙂

The biscuit topping wasn’t a favorite of mine; maybe it’s because I don’t love biscuits and the topping was bland 🙂 but I’m glad I can say I made it. Next time I make this, I’ll be using Amy’s Baba’s recipe… last night’s prize! 🙂

Peach cobbler is my favorite. Mixing that with raspberry sounds wonderful. Great pictures.

Peach and raspberry sounds like a sensational combination… and your cobbler turned out delightfully juicy. A shame the biscuit topping didn’t work better for you.

I bought a million peaces this weekend and I’m not going to be able to eat them all. I think this recipe will be made very soon in my house!

I never had a cobbler until this week and now I have to taste so many flavours. I bet on berries, but your combination sounds divine.

So many peach using bakers called the topping bland, maybe peaches need an enhancer?

Mmmm…peaches go so well with raspberries! (Blueberries, too, for that matter.) I’ll have to try that next time…
